I'm also in the company of several announcers. I've been hearing them ask that question during Panther games pretty much since Shula got the OC job.

Keep making it up and someone might believe it. It seems to work well here when complaining about Shula or Rivera.

I've heard it too, as recent as yesterday from our own broadcast team and on numerous occasions over at least the last two seasons that I can recall.  It happens way more than it should.

And you are another Shula basher. I bet that several other bashers will weigh in too. Must be a fact. Shula purposely draws up plays where receiver bunch up down the field on purpose.  You guys are a riot. So sad really. I hope Shula is here for a decade just to keep hearing the whining. This is amusing......

I'm only telling you what I heard on the broadcast dude.  You were bashing Scott for telling the truth.  I don't know why it happens but it happens way too damn much for professionals.  It's either the players or the play design.  If the players are screwing it up that often then who ultimately is to blame?

Believe 1/4 of what you hear and 1/2 of what you see. Of course it is the players. If the receivers are screwing up it is the wide receiver coach. Maybe why Proehl is gone.

Again that is guaranteed not usual. Tell me this how many times do you see Cam hurry to the line to make sure he has time instead of walking to the line almost casually? Yeah..   .

He has no problem hurrying in the no huddle. Yeah bro... Defending Shula is going to make you look stupid. Don't try it.

It wasn't bashing that 2 receivers ended up in the same spot, that happens to every team every year. It is the implication it wasn't an execution error but a purposeful drawn up play. I have heard it in other games against other teams. That hardly.means the OCs drew it up that way.

Funny folks who actually know football talk about his creativity and good play design. I wonder why most folks disagree with your analysis.

Yep.

Shula is so clever that all those people who know football are beating down the Panthers' doors wanting to interview him and hire him away

We will surely lose him when the Pats need an OC. We will just have to suck it up and deal with it when it happens

But it's still happening so the new coach can't coach or our receivers just can't grasp the route of the play.  And I've also witnessed it in games on numerous occasions myself without the benefit of commentary.  Maybe we need smarter receivers?

Exactly. What makes you think Shula doesn't call plays in the no huddle. Watch Cam when they step to the line. He covers his earholes which is getting in the play. The first few are scripted. After that they are called in.

Totally off the wall. Why waste a post on that type of stupid. Players got beat on the line in one on one matchups because Cam didn't get them to the line fast enough. That makes no sense at all.

So did Cam not get them to the line fast enough cuz of Shula not getting the play in fast enough? Or is it Cam unable to to make a decision fast enough? So u do agree in a way it's the speed of the offense executing the play!!! So whose fault is it? Cam's or Shulas!??

Answer one question. Do you think the call was drawn up that way or not?

Why does it keep happening? Why did Williams have holding penalties several times? Why did we give up 6 sacks? And it happens every game. Maybe we should fire Matso too. Maybe Taylor because he  hasn't fixed everything yet Maybe the whole staff.  After all they keep having player execution problems.

Hard to know unless you were an insider....
