You thinks McCaffrey, Samuel, or Stewart is better than Freeman? And Alex Mack is as good or better than Kalil. Guards I may have to give you -- Levitre is solid at least, though.

Yeah I have no idea where that reply came from.  I've seen some whoppers from some homers here, naturally, but that one's in the top 5 haha.  Freeman is easily the most dynamic running back in the division, and as much as I love Jstew he's not as fast as him or as good a pass catcher.

Not going to take away much at all from GBs lack of scoring when they are missing multiple starting offensive line players and tackles.

Crazy how stacked the offense is though.  Given the amount of picks spent on our offense it's honestly pathetic that you guys are so far ahead of us in terms of skill position talent...

Every primetime game so far has been a snoozefest. Matter of fact, most NFL games this year has been a snoozefest. NFL product is just so bad now

This is the first year in, maybe 20ish years where watching a game that the Panthers are not in feels more like a chore. I love football season, but this one has felt flat so far.

Outside of Jones, it's late round drafting and smart FA, not splash, that has made the difference. Freeman and Coleman are 3rd and 4th round picks (Hardy was ~4th I believe), Sanu and Gabriel were picked up from the Bengals and Browns on reasonable deals. Not 'skill positions' but Schraeder was UDFA and Mack was also a FA.

Matt Ryan's mid-career renaissance has been a welcome surprise as well, obviously.

You guys should be honest with yourself and just accept that their HC is actually pretty damn good and isn't a bitch like Rivera. The OC cost them a SB and their Saints level defense has turned around and can fly and play well in general. We have more talent than they do overall, especially on defense but the coaching staff that was put together there is good.

Tampa is going to be pretty good too...easier to just be honest about it.

NFL is about matchups and our corners aren't going to standup to Tampa/ATL so we have to have the front 7 balling out there to stop them.

The Falcons are gonna be tough again this year. But, a blueprint to beat them is out. Their defense gets tired more quickly than normal, especially in no huddle, and folds because they rely on speed to mask their deficiencies.

Unfortunately we are completely unable to attack that, because we like to use the full play clock and STILL rely on slow developing plays with lumbering slow wide recievers. I don't know if it's Cam or Shula/Rivera, but this Falcons team is a terrible matchup for us. Not sure if we can beat them this year.

This early to mid season  gamut of games against the Saints, Patriots, Lions, Eagles, Bucs, Falcons is going to be a rude awakening if the offense doesn't learn how to get their poo together pretty quick. Defense has been playing lights out but we can't literally rely on them to carry the team every single game. There will be times where they face much more talented QBs than Bryan Hoyer and Tyrod Taylor and much better offenses/coaching and we have to be able to score TDs. Today was completely unacceptable from an offensive standpoint. A good team would have soundly beat us.

There's a lot of people here blaming me and some others for being debbie downers but I'm just a realist.  If we were stalling that badly against the Pats or the Cheifs we would have been getting waxed the entire game.
