Serious question. Do you think Russell Wilson would have missed those throws to Dickson or the easy TD he had with CMC yesterday? I sure as hell don't and Cam is not immune to the criticism. He cannot miss those kinds of throws if he wants a ring. That's reality.

Did Russell Wilson also have off-season surgery on his throwing shoulder and only throw 2 full speed pre-season passes against actual opponents?

And, at the risk of repeating myself for the millionth time here:

Cam Newton is not perfect.

Cam Newton has missed several WIDE OPEN receivers in the first two games of the 2017 season, AND...

Cam Newton is still very near or at the bottom of the list of this Carolina Panther offense's problems.

Cam has been missing those throws from day 1. His shoulder has nothing to do with it. It's not how many throws he misses either. It's about the situations. He could have easily sealed that game with a little easy lay up and he threw up an air ball. This is getting old.

No but it is on Cam and Shula exclusivly. They both share that responsibility and it needs to stop. No one else is to blame but them. One or both of them should fix this issue.

main reason i said this falls on rivera now, clock management has been one of his biggest weakness since the start of his tenure, shula or cam this should have been fixed

Again, it's about which throws he misses and  how badly he misses them, not how many he misses. He is almost always high too, so he has known for years what he needs to correct and he still hasn't done it. Guys like Russell Wilson and Tom Brady don't miss that throw to CMC, regardless of how their O-line is playing, how the rest of their day has gone,  or who the OC is. They just don't.

Yeah, every QB throws INT's. That's not the point. The point is that Cam is missing easy throws with the game on the line. Tom Brady does not do that. Cam said this himself. He also said he would get better and I'm going to take him at his word because I know the past does not have to equal the future. It's time though.

The point is every qb is going to miss throws or throw picks. No QB is perfect. There's not a single franchise qb in NFL history that finished a season with a 100% completion percentage . Of course he could've made throw, but he didn't. I've seen him throw more end zone laser beam strikes than the kind of throw he made that we're debating about right now. We also won so it doesn't really matter anyway
