Theres a lot of blame to go around today but only one guy on the field or off it is getting paid $20 million dollars a year.  Cam is the main reason we looked like dogshit today.

Cam hasn't looked worth $hit since the playoffs during the SB run and this shoulder thing will be one reason he won't look good all season. He will have a few games where he is on, but he's gonna continue the suckage for the most part.

Lol dude Cam did not even play that bad today. Yeah the miss throws to Dickson and Cmc were bad but he just got surgery on his throwing arm several months ago. The fact that he's playing now is remarkable, give it time.

It's all fair weather.  Teams are lucky to get to the Superbowl much less win one. Cam at least has kept this team in the conversation of playoff and beyond.  I'm not sure people realize what they have....even if you get the so-called can't miss draft pick at QB, he might get hurt.  Cam's been durable, a winner and something this franchise hasn't had consistently.  If not for Cam, ,Rivera would have been fired by now, g.one

Agreed. People won't appreciate what we had until he's gone. Cam does have his flaws but he also puts the team on his back more than any other player in the NFL.

Didn't watch the game but from the comments the D played well until prevent kicked in...Shula always with poor playcalling and my boy Cam with a couple of overthrows that happen at the wrong time ...redzone... Ok the red zone...2 runs and a throw which is somewhat what we do ..would have worked but Cam over threw it. .My opinion is the first 2 runs should have been 1 up the middle and maybe a qb sneak or something to get to the edges  McD knows our plays and tendencies he would be expecting running up the gut..but qb sneak Cam usually gets on pure will. The passing play was a good call and bad call.. This call should have been 1st or 2nd play... Knowing your Qb strengths the OC should know...If you know Cam has a tendency to overthrow and is dealing with a shoulder injury why ad stress on top by calling it on 3rd down..when you?are trying to ice the game...Cam is still working on getting his confidence up he did not need that play right then..imagine if we had lost... This is why I say Shula is not the fit for Cam he puts the world on his shoulders when really there is no need. Cam is not perfect but I take him over most. How many great or good Qbs have to question playcalling..We are the only team more than likely that says what the *** was that..i never see it with Seatle, KC, Greenbay, New England, Atlanta, Raiders, Bengals, Cowboys, Redskins...I never say or hear anyone say why in the hell did the call that play...Seatle SB loss but even that was a good call malcom just made an excellent read..

Cam did throw two touchdown passes that were broken up by terrific safety play from Poyer.

It's also fair to say he missed more than one open receiver.

We had some penalties for slow play calls, maybe that was Cam or maybe it was Shula, hard to say. Cam has been in the league long enough now if he doesn't feel a play call is coming in he should go ahead and run one. If Shula doesn't like it, he can get his call in faster.

I'm not sure why Ryan Kalil was on the bench but missing him and Greg did cause problems for us offensively. It did feel like McDermott was very very prepared for our offense, perhaps intel helped because most of our run plays where in critical condition before the ball handler got the ball.... Is that Shula's fault? Maybe, I think it takes a simple mind to assume its all Shula though.

Cam took a few sacks where he had men running open. He needed to let loose on passes, not scramble for a 14 yard loss. That is completely on him.

Our offensive line had some costly holding Penalties. That is neither Cam nor Shula's fault.

My only real beef with Shula was trying to run the ball inside with McCaffrey when he couldn't get the interior blocked. CMC can't use his talents without at least some space.
