CAP doesn't play on kickoff special teams. It would be dumb for him to be active this year unless Stewart or CMC is out. Neither Cap or Fozzy will be getting many snaps on offense otherwise.

He wouldn't contribute. Would be a waste of an active spot.

Fozzy has zero positive contributions on ST. Sure, he plays it, but his presence on the field is a negative on ST. And CAP is a much better emergency runner if stew or McC were to go down.

I don't understand this comment.  He hasn't returned a single kick this year.  And last year, he only returned 12 for a 23 yard per average.

Fozzy outplayed CAP in the regular season last year as a runner. He would be my emergency runner especially if CMC goes down.

So with the word now that Kalil won't play with a neck issue, why the hell wasn't he deactivated?

Wouldn't it have made more sense to activate Van Roten?
