trying to trade someone early-midseason? pretty much begging for someone to take them off your hands because you have made a colossal mistake in keeping them around or bringing them around in the first place.

i say we make them suffer. hopefully the whole league makes them suffer and eat up the cost of this turd.

So the Saints are trying to make room for a QB who is almost 40 for a contract extension by trading one of their best defensive players. Sounds like the Saints.

 

Why not trade Brees to a contender? They are basically wasting the end of his career with that awful team around him.

i've seen people say this for other players and i still have no idea why any team would do this.

in this situation, brees is the reason that they are in this $$ situation in the first place. the dude made himself out to be a stand up "team first" guy during the owners lockout then turns right around and holds the team hostage so he could be the highest paid QB in the league (at that time) and ends up crippling the team for years because they can't afford anyone.

he made this poo bed in the toilet bowl of the mississppi, let him and that team rot in it.
