Trai Turner Welcomes Solomon Thomas To The NFL

So, Trai Turner did a number on Solomon Thomas. Completely disrespects his move, then finishes off with a nice body slam.

Welcome to the NFL, Thomas.

*Please note I don't mean an actual pancake when Trai leaps on Thomas from behind. As many others have said, that is indeed not a technical pancake. Meant it figuratively in terms of having a 300lb+ smash a guy to the ground in a broader sense.

Sorry for the confusion.

Honestly that left hand club by Thomas was actually pretty strong. Turner is just strong enough and has good enough feet to recover quickly. That's why he's making the big bucks now.

This. Just shows Solomon will do good things.

4 out of 5 OL spots are solid to pro bowl level.

LT is still a mystery but if he can make it into the Solid category, Cam and Co are gonna do big things.

Matt Kalil was very good at pass protection. I was impressed.

Very weird though how his run blocking was bad. Like he's the sole reason a lot of run plays messed up. Doesn't seem used to the scheme yet - especially considering he's in a whole new scheme - but something I think is coachable. He was very good at run blocking in 2015, so I doubt this will be a lingering issue for much longer.

That's why I'm leaving him as an unknown.  This group is gelling nicely if we can just get consistent play out of Matt we are going to be a tough out.
