Dalvin Cook

I don't really know what the point is dwelling on this. Yeah, there is a logical argument for drafting someone else at 8 and picking up a RB in 2nd or 3rd round. But that was a topic for June. The results this weekend are not a surprise. Everyone knew Fournette, Hunt, and Cook were looking good. Do you need us to affirm you are right? Do you need to tell us "I told you so?".

Doesn't matter anymore. CMC is our guy, now we ride with him. Why complain about Draft choices after a win in September? Just enjoy what we have.

I don't think anyone is suggesting giving up #22, but taking a RB not named Dalvin with our second pick was asinine.

There were good olinemen, defensive backs, and pass rushers on the board and we take Samuel.

Personally I'd rather one of our other positions of need be filled, but if you're gonna be pigheaded and take another back at least take the best one.

Every good or bad play on any game is a scathing indictment on somebody.

I though he looked good. Someone here always insisted he sucked.

It's very rare these days when a guy overcomes adversity.  Hopefully Cook leanered ehatever lesson he needed and really blows up.  Itd make for a cool 30 for 30 one day.

Maybe you haven't followed but hes not playing running back. He wasn't projected as a running back, wasn't  drafted as a running back, nor practiced as a running back.

He's not playing much of anything.

And yes I'm aware he was drafted to fill the Amarti Edwards role.

Yeah man I remember when OBJ didn't get much practice time or playing time because he was injured a lot of his rookie campaign

Good thing they cut that bum huh

Everyone with half a brain knew Dalvin Cook was the best if not at worst the second best back in the draft, tied with Fournette. The Vikings were dead last in rushing last year now they come out with Cook looking like gangbusters

I put down a nice chunk of change on him winning ROY before the season started

Not sure I'm following the argument that we should have taken Cook if we were gonna take a back in the second round anyway. We use Samuel as a slot WR, and using him that way fills a need.

Let's settle down and see how he does against a NFL defense. The Aints don't have one.

Yeah don't get me wrong, Hunt and Cook both had great games and I expect both of them to be good.

But let's not act like they were battling elite defenses. Both Bradford and Smith torched the opposing defenses, that should say A Lot.

Fournette was the most impressive rookie back to me this week.
