Star and KK were dominant today. If we don't lock down this tandem for the future it will be a colossal mistake.

Large nose guys are not in demand right now, that's why a guy like Love was unsigned at the start of last season. And substituting star for love does not in any great why affects how good a defense is.

Fine, but take a look at the 2018 cap. We are already over. Even with current years rollover ($8M),  resigning both Norwell and Star means we are mortgaging the future and have absolutely no flexibility in FA.

The Panthers have to find the money. Star should definitely get a contract sometime soon that's for sure. If the Panthers don't pay him someone else will.

They don't remotely play the same position though.  Their roles could not be any more different.
