Hypothetical: I run the best night club in Charlotte.  EVERYBODY wants to get in because it is so fun and awesome.  However, to get in, I require that every customer gets punched in the mouth to enter the door. *EVERY* customer, man or woman.  I treat everyone equally, without regard to gender, social status, or wealth.  Is my system "fair"?
