Yeah, exactly. I’ve watched enough film, and I agree with marxistpanther with every point he made.

Take a look at Brady, and many other QBs on Sunday, and compare that to Cam’s pocket. Absolutely nothing for Cam, hence the bad play.

Can’t even fault him too much for the missed deep passes. Those happened before and happen to the best of them. Line play was terrible and Cam played like there’s a defender centimeters away on every snap.

Was it arguably Cam’s worst game of his career? Yes. He also made mistakes himself he shouldn’t make. But lots more variables than just Cam sucking.

The whole "rusty" argument is at least somewhat valid.  He is rusty.  He's also sore.  However, he locks onto one receiver nearly every play and doesn't even see wide open receivers who are usually running directly across his line of vision.  He will throw into double coverage with a quickness.  That has nothing to do with being rusty.  That's terrible decision making.  Even after he shakes off the "rust", this is still going to be an issue.

Absolutely agree that Cam took some of the most vicious shots ever last year.  A normal person would probably be a veggie after those hits.  Its been well documented how badly the refs ignored protecting him.  I really think Cam cares and wants to win but we have to monitor him closely in terms of this franchise.  I felt very confident with Gettleman leading us but not now.

His seam throws are still solid on slants and stuff but everything else in his game still seems off.  Hasn't been the same since around the Minnesota game last year.

Our deep passing game is poo right now for a number of reasons unfortunately. Ginn was a lot more of a loss than some want to admit. That's a harsh indictment on our WR depth over the last several years.
