I can agree with this. It's all about context.

Relatively, considering the very small sample size, Shepard did fine, but I wasn't really impressed---and people should think about the meaning of the word---yesterday by any of our receivers because it just wasn't that kind of day, but I do believe that they at least did their jobs when called upon. That's a positive. With a week of practice, Cam and overall chemistry should improve, and we'll get a better test next week whereby we may actually have to rely on the receivers a little more.

He made the play when he had the opportunity, but CMC got him open and it's only one game.

 

I wasn't one hating on him, but I don't see how any doubts are erased after 2 catches and 1 touchdown.

Back in the preseason, I kept wondering why some folks were so big on him. I just didn't see much there.

I'm certainly beginning to see it now. Let's give him another game before  we crown him, though.
