I disagree. He has been serviceable since his "Big Money" days, got cut, and came back to a team he seems to really enjoy playing for. The team knows better than I do, but he sure seems like a captain.

I'm sure a lot of guys like him on and off the field. This would probably be a different conversation had he not taken that pay cut but he only has 5 sacks in the last 2 years/22 games.

Yup. I'm not disputing the player vote. Like I said before they know better than I do. I was merely playing devils advocate saying I don't see why someone would automatically assume CJ would lose his patch. While not spectacular, he has been a solid player for this franchise for a long, long time.

It was an honest question.  I wanted to make sure before I started in on something.

As long as the players pick I got no beef with it.
