He also drafted Jimmy Clausen in the second and a bunch of other no names in the 5th. He was here a long time. It would only make sense he hit on a random guy once in a while.

Not gonna lie I was worried when he made a couple nice plays in that one preseason game that we would end up keeping him. Glad that didn't happen.

Someone help me understand why he'd agree to this? Just sit there on IR and get your full guaranteed pay - and the rest of the season's worth of top quality healthcare and rehab. I have to think that if it's a settlement that it's likely for less than he would've otherwise made or why would the Panthers have offered to settle?

He could sign with another team now. Apparently the inury wasn't all that bad .
