As long as you have internet, cutting the TV cable cord is easy. Get a digital antenna, a streaming device like Apple TV, and a time warner cable log in. So easy!

What's time warner?

And back when time warner existed and had the time warner app, it only worked on your home network.

I just ordered a fire stick that I plan on jailbreaking and putting Kodi on. I just learned about YouTube TV from this thread. It looks fuging awesome. I think with fire stick + YouTube TV I can finally give the middle finger to Spectrum (well, minus internet). Anybody else have a similar setup or have any suggestions?

I'm not opposed to it. But I wonder if it blocks you when you try to watch from an IP that doesn't match the area the account originates from now.

I know that Direct TV now will not give you access to local channels when your IP does not match the local area.  I tried to do this from NYC (we have local channels on DirectTV now) and give my friend in Georgia the password.  The normal content worked, but my friend got a notification that he was outside of the local channel area for NYC and couldnt get those broadcast channels.

Still waiting on DirecTVNow to get all the local affiliates. Just Fox and ABC so far. I get them all with the antenna.  No NFL network though, which sucks for the Thursday games. It is supposed to be coming soon, but DVR was supposed to be "coming first quarter of 2017" and I am still waiting.

Mm mm.  I have Directv and have every thing.  Don't get what you are saying at all

Do you think i can record Panther games  on youtube tv and watch them while in Australia? I'm trying to find a way to watch the games while gone, i don't need them to be live while in Australia.

You can watch the NFL games after the live broadcast on youtube without buying the tv service. Read this thread. Seriously.
