Carter's career high in sacks came in 2007 (10.5) and Peppers career high came in 2008 (14.5). How about you try forming an opinion based on facts instead of just blindly hating on Peppers. Only a complete f**cking idiot would even consider a Carter for Peppers trade.

So everything Peppers has ever done on the field has either been in garbage time or was some kind of fluke right? Well okay, there are 31 other teams that would love to have a guy that can get 71.5 sacks over 8 seasons in either garbage time or by accident.

Don't bother bringing up the million-dollar-a-game paycheck Peppers is getting, that wasn't his decision... he wanted to leave and we forced him to stay, so if you are upset about that blame it on Hurney, Fox and Richardson not Julius, he had no other choice.

You're also missing Fiz's point, sacks are irrelevant when the player in question is half assing it for the vast majority of the other plays. Did you even watch the MNF game vs. Dallas? By watching that you would have to come to two conclusions; a.) Peppers is physically done B.) he doesn't really give a ****. Personally I think it's an extremely bad combo of both and I can see why most rational Panthers fans are furious with the situation.

I've been here and around Panthers fans since 95 (been a Panthers fan since 95) and I can tell you that you're full of crap. I remember the 1-15 season, Panthers fans including myself didn't desert them then and we haven't deserted them now. I don't know what kinda Panthers fans you're hanging out with - but considering you're a NC guy who still roots for the Redskins and not your home team I guess you attract those kinds of folks. you're assuming that i think sacks are the end all be all stat for defensive end. Possessing a fully functional brain stem, I do not think this.
