Having a "spirited" discussion over on EXTREMESKINS (aka: LOSERVILLE)

What's the point of this thread? To share with us your experience there? It's not going to help your cause any.

I just wouldn't go to their board. I don't like it when they come to this one and post about their team, so I don't go to their board and do the same.

The point is mostly enterainment and I don't have a "cause" other than to stand up for my fellow Panthers fans when I read through a thread over there calling us stupid, obnoxious and fair-weather.

Orakpo: Maybe - but he hasn't proven anything yet.

Carter: are you high?

andre carter plays hard which is more than you can say for peppers right now

if someone offered the panthers a 2nd for him, or hell even a 3rd, they'd have to take it at this point.

i don't like the idea of talking trash until we have at least shown that we can win games this year. right now we have no room to talk about anything.

agree, i'm not smack-talking until we're winning. unless im telling opposing NFCS fans that their team = the suck, of course :hurray:

Andre Carter (age 30) has played his heart out and managed 53.5 sacks over 9 years and 351 total tackles (274 solo). Julius Peppers (age 29) while theoretically not trying has managed 71.5 sacks over 8 years (including a career high last year) and 348 total tackles (280 solo). Which guy would you rather have again? After they picked themselves up off the floor, I'm sure the Skins would jump all over the chance to trade Carter for Peppers. :out:

Conclusion: Given these stats and your hypothesis that Peppers doesn't try his hardest while Carter does, Peppers on his worst day is still as good or better than Carter on his best day.

bu bu bu bu sacks and pro bowls

right now the Panthers need a starting calibre defensive end who doesn't take plays off. if you really want to tell me that peppers is playing his heart out right now, or really ever has, then you're full of poo.

if you're going to tell me how many sacks he had last year, stop and ask yourself how many he had the year before, and what was different about it.
