Dude they have not played one game yet.. If he keeps 2 kickers all year or more than a month.. Flame on.. But to bitch about this before anything plays out is foolish..

JJ would know this from his time spent at Hurney's radio station. 

It was not the scouts recommendation to pick him up. It was all Hurney by the looks of it.

So, basically Kaaya is a Hurney draft pick this year.

But right now we have a 3rd stringer who will hold a clipboard at best all year. Versus one who could contribute on Special Teams and play a decent NFL level QB.

Kaaya is fine looking even though I could be his Mom.   I just hope he pans out to be a quality back up QB as I don't have much faith in DA. Definitely Kaaya was a smart sign.

If he has a good camp next year--or if Gilbert does--a QB can bring in some trade offers.  Getting a QB like Kaaya was smart--he had a pretty good preseason--better than Anderson--in Detroit.   Not a bad move at all--and I despise Hurney.

after watching this i kind of do as well.

smart kid. smart QB (start at the 9:00 mark if you just want to focus on this part). he's got the head for it for sure. i'd like to see how he plays, but right now i'd be trusting him more than DA....not that the bar is set particularly high there.
