Ironically enough, Andy Lee was probably our best kicker to actually get some return value from him if traded.

Maybe Hurney was more concerned with making Gettleman look bad for giving up a 4th for him.  He didn't want anything back as it would make it look like he was worth it.  Wouldn't surprise me.

Lee is a heck of a punter, but his leg isn't getting any younger. He's a short term boost for a team at this point, which is what the Cardinals feel they need as their window closes. Palardy is good to serviceable and he's young -- plenty of opportunity for him to keep polishing his skills (at a lower cost per year).

And having a Pro-Bowl punter is about as exciting as having the best looking Camry in the neighborhood. I guess it's kinda something you can brag about, sometimes, maybe.
