I remember in 2005 when he put Stephen Davis on IR too soon. Coulda used him in the Playoffs, especially Seattle.

In theory, yes, but in practice no. This wasn't 2003 Stephen Davis. He was averaging 3 yards a carry on the season, and had a total of 20 carries for 62 yards in his last four games of the season before his knee started to swell up pretty badly. He had a five-game stretch earlier in the season where he never hit 3 yards a carry despite double-digit carries. He was pretty terrible all year, and with Foster taking over and Goings being the backup coming off of an absurdly competent 2004 season, we looked pretty set. Nobody could have anticipated we'd lose Foster and Goings in the playoffs. Frankly Davis wouldn't have helped much, if any, against Seattle. We were just too beat up as a team.

We're bashing Hurney for keeping 3 kickers and 2 QBs on a 53 man roster and IR'ing a guy with potential before the 4:01 cutoff.

So yes, we will continue ridiculing these obvious bad moves.

Show me where you bashed Gman for losing a all pro Cb (who wanted to and still wants to be here) or putting his franchise QB at risk with a totally new WR corp , Byron Bell and a conveted DT as his OT ?? "But he was left handed" lol

Facts...Davis was dam near limping into the line.. But lets blame Hurney for Foster getting hurt in Chicago and going getting knocked out on.the 1st series in Seattle..

Then we should blame Gman for Philly being hurt in the superbowl..lol

What you don't know is the dude is nowhere close to being back. So maybe it's not as obvious.

Edit: the cutoff is actually 401 tomorrow. Does that change things for you?

Dickson has looked the best in Run and pass blocking among TE and RBs. I think the coaching staff took notice. The footwork against TD in one on one drill was better than some of our online.

i do hope Armah will stick to PS. He is the future at fullback giving time to develop
