"Fullback is a dying position"

*Kyle Shanahan proceeds to revolve his offense around a dominant fullback and create historical years for teams*

Still less teams are using fullbacks just because one successful team uses one doesn't negate that more teams are moving away from using them.

Philly Brown couldn't even make a depleted Bills WR group.

Newsflash, guys aren't making our 53 because of their talent, they're making it due to the lack of it on this roster as a whole.

But the huddle will continue to hype up these 45-53 roster players like they're going to be the next superstars!

Historically Hurney whiffs much more than he hits, and it isn't close.

Hurney does not get a clean slate. He picks up where he left off. So far.... not good.

Could not agree more with this

My comfort level with Gettleman was so much higher than it is now.  I really dont believe in Hurney.

Wow! All this over a 6th round pick.

*yawn*

A potential backup QB is greater than a FB project who shouldn't have ever been drafted (but acquired as an undrafted FA). Gettleman played with 6th and 7th rounders all the time like they were house money (even though his mouth said all picks were important).

Where were all these critics when G-man was giving up a fourth for an old kicker?  How about when we cut our future 7th round TE, or lost our 6th rounder to Bill Belichick? Or lost a 7th to get a project WR from the 'hawks (that we eventually cut)? Or the multiple picks/spots lost by moving up in drafts with regularity?

There's nothing earth shattering or anything worth getting all fired up over.  Let's just continue to see what transpires.

Hahaha.. omg.. all this for nothing.. Ends up right where most thought when he was drafted..

It's not like this wasn't a pretty good possibility from the very second they cut him. I've been saying throughout the day that Armah could very well be on our PS tomorrow but nobody wanted to hear it.

Really ?? A raw prospect with no position from a community college and not much preseason tape wasn't going to be on every teams must haves??

When are we going to stop allowing ourselves to panic over bottom round players who aren't ready to make an impact and more than likely may never? It makes us so fuging dumb as a fan base. Be fuging better than that BS.

Never....

When Igo falls in love with a prospect the rest of his sheep will as well..
