Armah Waived (Likely for PS); Elder IR'd

Ed Dickson looked great blocking in the preseason, I'm ok with him being the quasi fullback in this offense. Plus he is a much more reliable receiver out of the backfield than either Young or Armah would have been this season.

Yeah....so we have 3 QBs like we always have. Expect this time the 3rd one is an actual QB and not a ST guys. And the 4th is a developmental PS guy. So we have two guys who can potentially take DAs place next season when we don't resign him.

That's the problem. He doesn't do anything but qb and wastes a valuable roster spot. Teams rarely keep 3 qbs for a reason. And I could be ok with Webb bc he did WR, QB, Special Teams. Kaaya does nothing but take a spot that could be used for a better player. If you wanna develope a qb especially a backup replacement you do it on the practice squad.

Our ST contributors were going to be better than Webb this year. I've got no problems with them developing two QBs. I would rather have a choice from two that we worked with for a year. MUCH more valuable position than a do it all who can throw decently.

I'd agree with you if we were going to replace Cam but to replace a backup QB is lunacy. And it's only a valuable position if Cam goes down. That qb prevents a DB, safety, dline, oline, fullback, and depth rotational guys from having a spot. And those areas see play time a heck of alot more than a 3rd string qb.

So the patriots didn't have 3 QB's on the roster last year...

The 3rd QB is taking the place of a FB.

To play multiple positions...I saw good hands ,quick feet and some good blocks...he can play Fb,Te,STeams...he also has the it factor...so any combo of 3 of those 4 traits puts him ahead Dickson...Resse and Rathman don't factor into it..
