Armah Waived (Likely for PS); Elder IR'd

We waived our only FB and IR'd a 5th round CB, both with huge potential, to bring in two undrafted, borderline NFL players who will each likely be inactive as long as they're on the roster?  Oh, all while keeping 2 kickers...  wtf is going on?

IF ED DICKSON is as good as at blocking as some of you think where was he during our SB run & all of last yr ?

at least it's not this bad. Bills fan better pray nothing happens to McCoy.  Imagine Stew or CMC getting hurt and having Tolbert as your featured RB.

Lord almighty, I sure as he'll hope we aren't going to have Dickson out there for damn near starting snap percentages... again. If we're going to run that many two TE sets them we really needed to upgrade that spot. Seems like this staff gets weird crush level infatuations with certain players and can't or refuses to see what is plainly obvious to the rest of the football world. Dickson fuging sucks at football.

One is hurt and not going to contribute this year. The other is raw and is not going to contribute this year. The two kickers is dumb.

Drafting CB's in the 5th has been a waste. Gettleman tried drafting his Norman and failed and yeah we give credit to Hurney for that one, but that was back in 2012. Why the fug is he back as our GM

Ed Dickson is a terrible option next to Olsen, and he has proven that. If we are going to use him as our FB I would think someone has lost their mind. This is why I wanted us to draft a solid #2 tight end in this last draft class, because it was stacked at that position. Nope!

He wasn't used in that capacity because they thought Tolbert could do it.

Nobody said he was a great blocker. I said he has been blocking his ass off this pre season. Our season does not hinge on him in the first place, nor would it hinge on Armah. Jeremy just loves to see which direction the angst is going and then give it a nudge and you suckers fall for it every time. The fact this, Armah could easily be right back on the roster at this time tomorrow.

Let's not start pretending that Dickson is some sort of blocking machine all of a sudden when his whole career as a Panthers has been sub par. 

He's been a poor blocker, especially for a second TE where that's his only job. He's a better receiver than blocker, though that's not saying a ton or helping us when we mainly have him block.

Last I heard, Corn was only out a month or two from the time he went out with the injury.  Not saying he would be a world beater withh all of that time missed, but a lot of people were excited to have him.  And for Armah to have made it to the active 53 in the first place tells us the staff think he can contribute...  it's why this is so baffling to me.  I know the FB isn't as important as it used to be, but we certainly ran a lot of plays with them lead blocking in the preseason...  Idk, maybe it signals we will go singleback/pass heavy in week 1?

But yeah, the 2 kickers thing...  And now announcing that Gano will start in week 1? Really, really dumb and a waste of a roster spot.  Cut or trade Gano and move on.
