I hate Hurney more than anyone on here, but Kaaya is someone you can develop to eventually start or back up in this league or even trade.

Webb doesn't give you that.

Agreed. Also, does anybody here actually believe that Hurney made this move with no input from the coaches and scouts? If so, I have a couple of bridges to sell you.

I would feel better with it if the Panthers track record for developing QBs wasn't flat horrible. When McDermott was interviewing Dorsey for the OC position, we were begging for him to go.

Are you saying that Cam  hasn't developed?  BTW, the huddle couldn't wait to get rid of  Mike McCoy too, but it turned out that he was good enough that he worked himself into a HC gig.

Cam was a no.1 overall pick and has more natural talent than Kaaya ever will. And Cam still has issues that will probably never go away. Literally ever other other QB we drafted to "develop" has fallen flat.

Well duh. #1 overall picks tend to develop better than a 35yr old Jake Delhomme or Derrick Anderson. Why? Because he's more talented than both of them put together and you can't coach that even if you have the greatest QB guru who ever lived.
