I was never that impressed with him at Miami but that doesn't mean he can't be a good back up in the near future. I think this sends a clear message to DA that they want to get younger at the back up QB position.

Old buddy has worse accuracy than Kaepernick. His accuracy percentage in college was always inflated due to Jimmy Clausen syndrome (short throws). When he had to start making big boy throws he struggled.

Joe Webb didn't die for this.
