At the end of the day, we can fancy it up, but this is still a fan community of a sports team that specializes in grown men pummeling each other for entertainment and profit.

I get where you're going, but people being dicks is kind of the internet in a nutshell, and when you add the above subject matter, it's going to get ugly fairly often. It's just inevitable.

Well, if something this place did bothered me so much that I would make a post about it, I don't think I'd be here anymore.

 

If the fact that a random poster whom you've never met has been banned has bothered you enough to consider not putting time into this place, then why exactly are you here then? It's not like this thread will affect the decision that was made, it won't induce a restoration of said poster's ability to post here, and it won't curtail future bans brought on for being a-holes to other posters. So, what's the point of this whole thing in the first place again?

 

Oh yeah, so the alt can whine, I guess. This is coming from someone who neither agreed nor disagreed with said particular poster's comments. Honestly, I don't care enough to even bother looking up any examples of their activity. But if they got banned, I'll assume it was deserved, because the mods here are actually pretty good.
