Wasn't expecting the Panthers to land him anyway because since he was cut I didn't hear the Panthers were serious contenders so I didn't bank much hope on it and well it didn't happen. Gotta move on with what we got and I still think we are a better football team than the Bucs.

Several years ago, the Eagles signed every top free agent on the market.  They were a lock to win the SB.  I think they went 8-8, and had to win a few at the end to get to that record.

I think we are going to sign a S, but a hybrid (with Jones) would be better.

I also wonder if Marty was not trying to seal the Gano trade first. 

I keep waiting for Hurney to get desperate--that is how he screwed up before (in free agency.  In the draft, he sucked because he drafted a "safe" pick in Round 1 and then acted as if he had no communication with the scouting dept. after that.  When we signed Clausen after 2 teams--KC and Minn--in need of a QB passed on him in round 1 and then again IN THE SECOND ROUND while Marty tried to trade up for JC--I knew we had an idiot on the payroll.  When that was followed up with the Armanti and then the Everette Brown trade the next year, I could only think, "At least this will get him fired and we never have to deal with him again.")

That's not the point. He could have helped US, which is all that matters. Nobody gives a sh*t about the Bucs.

Chemistry is fine, cap would be good have you just cut Gano already and save 3 mil, and Adams has looked like straight trash. Check, check, and check. We are going into the season with Adams and Colin Jones backing him. That's the point.

People a judging Adams strictly on the freaking pre season. That is not very smart. He has been in the league over a decade. He did not need to prove anything in the pre season. I would liked to have gotten Ward too, but that doesn't mean Adams is "trash". I just wanted some insurance.
