A late-round pick that will be made by Marty Hurney...

Basically worthless.

Not exactly like Beau Sandland, Tyler Gaffney, and Kenjon Barner have been lighting it up either. In fact, DG hasn't had a late round draft pick that has made it over a year on the Panthers. If you are going to make an argument against Hurney, there are certainly better ways than bringing up track records of 6th and 7th round picks. Last time I checked: Munnerlyn, Nortman, Hardy, McClain (Robert), Schwartz, Gaines, Haye (Jovan), Berger (Joe), Montgomery (Will), and Bernadeau all have had successful careers as late round picks.

We got a 7th round pick in 2019, too? Or did we give one up?

per David Newton:

The Panthers got Buffalo cornerback Kevon Seymour in exchange for wide receiver Kaelin Clay in today's trade. They also gave up a seventh round pick In 2009.

Classic Newton

Ask @KB_fan she's been beating that horse all day with Bill Voth...she'll know the answer to that

Apparently being put on the IR today before the final cut to the 53 DOES mean that players are OUT for the season.

I was really surprised to learn that because, as best as I can tell based on 2015 and 2016 transactions, that wasn't previously the case...

But ESPN's Field Yates, and Bill Voth both seemed pretty clear about this, so I need to admit I was VERY WRONG.

Espescially a Hurney 7th.

Hell, who care about any Hurney pick below round one. Trade them all, IDGAF.

Captain was a good pick. Dave usually just used the late rounders to trade up for winners like Funchess.
