Are y'all honestly expecting him to say anything different? You honestly think he's gonna come out and say "well we're holding out hope to trade one..." that would destroy any leverage he has and would be a very poor business decision.

And I'm definitely a fan of Joe Webb but I remember his woeful showing he had for the Vikings the last time he had to quarterback versus a first team defense. DA isn't MUCH better but at least he's been there and had some (very, very, very) moderate success here as first team qb. Some of y'all just want to find a reason to hate Hurney when imo he's actually done some good things since he's been here.

You know that's not how it goes around here or will go. The truth is that the GM we need is a combination of Hurney and Gettleman. One is too far left and the other too far right. But the consistent bitching about Hurney on this board is fuging annoying.

We needed to keep DG, there is nothing about Hurney that this team needed to succeed.

I've never had 2 Kickers on my team at once. I have also never won. My draft is tomorrow. Time to come up with the Hurney strategy. :)

I don't believe we're keeping two kickers. I'm not worried about that.

My worry is that we'll turn down a decent offer now thinking we can hold out for a better offer, and while we're doing that the kicker needy team that was making us an offer will go some other direction, at which point we're stuck with two kickers and nobody making any offers.
