I'm right about busts. I can see them a mile away. Argue it all you want.

I don't care if it was the pick. I was confident no team was absolutely dumb enough to actually take a third round talent in the first but hey... oh well. That's why The Eagles became a mess.

If you want to hold onto the miniscule fact that he snuck in then good for you but I called it. BUST.

Miniscule fact that you made a bet "lost" and have refused to ante up on in 3 years..

While walking around here like the "cock of the pin" questioning others credibility??

Lol

Dude you're the biggest pussy here and the fact that all you lost in the bet was your username and can't pay that up?? Lol

Makes you look even worst.. Bitchass clown..

Hurney values positions differently than Gettleman, for better or worse

Hurney has kept only 2 QBs before (Jake and Weinke) and put more emphasis on KR/PR than QB3.

Gettleman didn't seem to value KR/PR as much (i.e. Bersin returning punts in the playoffs vs. a fifth-year Steve Smith returning punts in the playoffs) but he saw Webb's considerable value as a jack-of-all-trades.

Personally I'd always carry 3 QBs but that's me

we carried 2 qbs under gettleman  webb was on ps

Oh yeah. There's certainly no reason to question the talent evaluation skills of a guy who traded a future first rounder for Everette Brown, traded a second rounder which wound up being #33 for Armanti Edwards, tried to trade up for Jimmy Clausen, bypassed Cordy Glenn for Amini Silatolu, took DeShaun Watson over Clinton Portis, used high picks on Eric Shelton, Attiyah Ellison, Dwayne Jarrett and others while throwing big money contracts at the likes of Charles Godfrey and an obviously done Jake Delhomme.

I mean, who would question that guy, right?

..............................And now he's back again to fug us some more. It never ends with this franchise. Can't even really blame Hurney though. This is all JR's doing.

Name one other person from those drafts that contributes to our success this season

You do know that the majority of our offensive production was drafted by Hurney right? Y'all make people here defend Hurney with the stupid poo y'all say.

I have respect for the Luke pick but cam was a no Brainer slam dunk pick. He doesn't get props for drafting cam when everyone knew it was the only right pick to make

Y'all have selective memory around here. Wasn't a slam dunk pick at all. It was widely debated if Cam was even the best qb in the draft at the time.

I've said it atleast a dozen times since Gman was let go, until we have new ownership this team will suck for the majority of the time. Gman was doing things like they needed to be done and was loading the roster and there was legitimate competition across the board. Now it will be all cozy for the players Hurney  loves and we will have no depth at all. Super Bowl my ass. JR has lost any sense he once had.

I actually agree with pretty much every move he's made.  Lee is too expensive and coming off injury, if he moves gano then even better and now he got something for a guy who was probably #53 on a 53 man roster in kaelin clay.

I would love to get rid of DA, but, if cam goes down I think he has a better chance of winning us a game over webb, experience matters.  We will move on from him next year Fwiw.  All of this with us alright on the salary cap front.

No need to vent at the moment. Hurney has done quite well in his return to the GM spot. I don't want him to be GM past this year, but so far, I have no complaints. I liked Webb, but I get the move or release. As for Andy, Gettleman gave up too much for him to begin with. Also gave Gano too much money. Our kicking situation needs to be fixed. Palardy will provide us solid punting for years, and hopefully Gano and his contract is on the way out
