I don't disagree at all, but if Cam were to miss time it wouldn't have been Webb anyway.  Webb lost his spot to guys like Armah Clay Artist-Payne

WOW! DA has looked worse than Jake in his later years. This is truly sad. I hope we seriously did not cut Webb just to keep DA. Hopefully, there is a move to be made.

I hope so...I liked what I saw in Gilbert. Still needs to improve, but he's worth keeping around for now.

Guys wondering why ^ this is it. Webb was a jack of all trades, master of none. I like his versatility but Clay is a better WR and if he can contribute on ST and he has more potential long term, that's why he got the nod. 

Hopefully next year we draft a late round QB to develop as Cam's backup. DA has been terrible.

Well, DA makes it based on nothing other than experience, because this pre-season I feel as if I could do just as good as he has done.

This is why Hurney is not fit to be a GM. This move makes NO SENSE. DA would be cut by nearly every other team, and Webb may or may not as well. Need a solid back up seeing as Cam has been an injury concern.
