To be honest, he lasted way longer than I thought he would.  At times he just looks completely lost and like he still has very little idea of what to do. Just does't seem to be a NFL caliber player. CFL is probably a better fit for him.

• The second-year pro logged 148 snaps over the four preseason games for the Panthers, including 68 in coverage. He performed well in coverage this preseason, allowing just 4-of-9 targets thrown his way to be caught, for just 33 yards. He intercepted one pass thrown into his coverage and saw just a 14.6 passer rating on those nine targets, the fifth-lowest of any cornerback to log at least 27 snaps in coverage this preseason.
• He did however, miss a total of three tackles on defense this preseason, two in run defense and another against the pass, tied for third-most of any cornerback.

Do you guys not realize Corn Elder would've been a 2nd round talent if not for his height? Heck, similar situation as Jarrett in Atlanta where they're both really talented but their height made people scared.

I didn't follow him in Minnesota, but when he played outside for us he was by far the worst CB in the league.  I sure as poo hope he's improved like no one has ever improved before if we have a starting CB get hurt.
