I was on the fence about this until last night. Early in pre-season, I thought CAP was done here considering his past body of work. Now, hmmm, I'm not sure I would release him and instead keep him after JStew retires. Even if it is preseason, those yards per carry are astounding right now.

And then I thought that meant Fozzy was on the out. He's been the change of pace back and KO returner but nothing much else. Then he turns out a pretty good preseason and shows that he can still put some points on the board.

Out of the two, I think Fozzy is the most on the bubble, but I think @Moorgan may very well be right and we keep both.

any way that you can lock this thread to where the only posts we're seeing are actual cuts instead of the riff raff?

 

example: this is the official cuts thread

create an addditional: cuts reaction thread. (For reactions and said riff raff)

i only say this because it's annoying to go through 3 pages to find an actual cut.

Yeah they do cuts early like usual so that players have a chance to get picked onto another 53.

They normally have list they update on page one.

With 1200 cuts happening over the course of just a few days, I'm not sure how effective that is anymore.

Plus you need the roster space for anyone you need to sign that are cut by someone else. Also, it's kinda like having drinks with a ugly girl, the longer you drag it out the more likely you're getting screwed.

Yeah the Panthers usually make half the cuts a day before and the rest the day of. I actually thought we might see a few before the the last game because we don't usually cut more than about ten at a time.

Fozzy should still be cut.  He ran hard last night but it felt like he was running hard for Houston and not his job.

Its a noble thing, what he did.  Unfortunately the passion for home will fade and he'll regress back to his normal self.  

He's a good dude and I wish him well but it's got to be on a diff team.

He really did.  I liked what I saw from him.  Only problem is he can't maintain that level.  This was his best.  It's a numbers game.  28,22,34.  43 is on the outside lookin in.

Not imo. Most coaches want a veteran backup.  But I don't think he will be here next year

Why do people want to get rid of Anderson? Yea he sucks, but trust me, Webb is no better.
