DeAngelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart have yet to "break out" this season. It's coming like a freight train and we're standing on the tracks.

My thoughts exactly.

It's funny to read the opposing teams message board, for the most part they are scared of the Panthers... there is a whole thread devoted to how scared they are of playing the Panthers, LOL.

I'm not scared of the Skins, I'm scared of Jake and Fox.

Part of it is play calling, part of it is falling behind quickly and abandoning the run. Yet another part is that Fox likes to pull one of them as soon as they get in a groove. While I agree that you swap them out to save their legs, when one gets the hot hand, let him crush the defense. You have to admit, something just isn't grooving with the O-line this year. Maybe we miss our backups that are now starting for other teams?

I know it's the pro level and this may not be the case, but I know the o-linemen in my college didn't try as hard when they felt the play calling was garbage. When the hogs are feeling the run game, don't stop it, or else you'll get half assed a lot.

Exactly - they are scared of the Panthers AND we are scared of the Panthers. Harmony and Unity.

Until we get our act together and play like we are capable of, I am scared of us, too.

    • Current draft order NYG, NE, JAX, TN, CLE, LV, CAR. We need to ask ourselves "what is the biggest need of those teams heading into the draft"? And, "What positions do we know are not major needs for the teams above?" JAX is terrible, but we know they won't be drafting a QB. The Patriots won't be either. The Raiders and Giants definitely need a QB. The Browns have one under contract, but he's been terrible since they signed him. I could see all 3 of them eyeing QB's. Hunter is a wild card. He could be the first player taken. Or, he could slip because some teams may not want to deal with his insistence on playing both ways. A team with a bad O-line may want to go LT TMAC is going to appeal to a team that needs a playmaker at WR. If CB is major need, I could see Will Thomas (or Hunter) coming off the board prior to our selection at #7. It's possible that Graham could fall into our laps. Then again we haven't factored FA into the equation. A lot of these teams will lure some players just because of the large amount of dollars they afford to play them and fix some needs before the draft. It's going to be an interesting off-season.
    • Sure, but despite being targeted less, he has more TDs than Odunze and more y/r than Nabers (and same number of TDs).  He's got a very similar y/r as Worthy.  He isn't stacking up that poorly to other WRs, but he has trailed off late - something that imo may indicate injury or needing to improve conditioning. He's not ever gonna be the best WR in this draft class, but he'll be in the top 3-5 with a bit of improvement imo.
    • Oh for sure. With Rod it’s never the defenses fault. I think someone posted this in Reddit a while back. Rod with the forwards. Rod with the defense.
