I'm perfectly fine with Butker or some new kicker missing under pressure but Gano is a vet, he is one of the highest paid kickers.  Absolutely zero argument he should be playing.

He should have been gone two seasons ago but it's the way of the Panthers, zero competition and ok with mediocrity.

Seriously. Please keep Butker if not just so Gano doesn't get anymore demoralized. He can't handle twitter hate, and I'm sure the pressure of ticked off fans over the Panthers not cutting an incompetent expensive kicker instead of the cheaper option will get to him.

Point out what was incorrect if you can. Ron absolutely did shoot down the notion of a kicking competition fairly early in camp saying the competition at punter was tighter than at kicker.
