Just bad luck on which ones get big. 

In '04 though we had Ivan who was a monster, and sounds like one.  He was the fourth in five weeks for FL that year if I recall correctly

I feel a lot better today than yesterday.  Unfortunately that is bad for many of y'all.  Get gas and supplies early.  Been no water here for several days and gas lines have been incredible

I don't live close enough to the coast to worry about it, but if I did, I would just fill up some coolers or empty soda bottles or something like that.

Got worse for Charlotte...  expected wind gusts are 80mph and then we are getting hit by eastern side which projected to produce huge amount of tornados

I certainly wouldn't call that good.

If the ground is saturated, then trees will go over and power lines with them.  Not as much structural damage to homes, just power out for a few days
