Stephen was over the hill. Lucas didn't break the bank either.

No he wasn't. He averaged 1,385 yards in '99-01 and in 2002 he ran for 820 yards in just 12 games.

Ken Lucas signed a six-year, $36 million contract. Big money for a CB in 2005.

How much more $$$ though. Don't want to pay 7 million for someone and all we can say is he sucks a little less than sanchez or teddy Williams.

That's not up to me. They released him so...

Mike Wahle, Maake Kemoeatu come to mind.... doubt you were a fan that far back though.

Ma'ake signed a five-year deal worth $23 million. Not an overpayment for a solid DT.

Mike Wahle was a pro bowl guard for Carolina. His 5 years, $21 million deal was worth it.

When Kemo signed in 2006 23 million was a ton for a two down run stuffer who couldn't rush the passer at all.

Mike Wahle made the pro bowl based on name recognition and he was a horrible scheme fit at the time an undersized OG know for pulling in a pure power scheme.

If we ever draft a guy with the last name Seaman and he gets released,  how many threads will there be on this board about "Panthers release the Seaman"???  Then when another team picks him up " Falcons pick up Panthers Seaman".  The 12 year old in me wants to know.
