its $50  and I 'll pay up. BTW don't forget there are 16 games  , he will sneak in by end of  the season.

I still like my other predciton Byrd  & CAP :)

No no no

We all knew you meant he would make the first 53. Too late to move the goal post.

Went back and watched the first half. Dickson actually looked pretty decent at fullback.

After further consideration, it is possible I suppose. Good call.

I still agree that Young will probably make it. But it's defiiitely conversation-worthy.

Honest question. If you agree he makes it why so adamant no FB are kept? Which is it?

I didn't say no FBs would be kept - that's @JoshKleinRules' take. I was defending his suggestion that it's a real possibility due to the lack of FB use this camp and Dixon getting those carries. The logic is there. I'm just not smart enough to get past the "no way we roll without a FB" logic.

I personally think RR keeps an experienced LB over a rook FB (especially if he keeps Young). Especially where there is plenty of injury history at the LB position.

But to be fair I'm not a very good evaluator of ST play.

I honestly can see Armah making it over Young and backing up Dickson in a FB/H-back role. He was an all conference TE at THE West Ga., so we know he's got decent hands. I definitely have a bigger rookie FB crush on him than I did fer Rockhead or Ward.

How? Young has gotten WAY more reps in practice and in the preseason games and has looked better. Plus RR likes vets. I like Armah and I think it's fun to pump him up, but I just can't see a situation where he makes it over Young. Would be fun if he did though.

I see the staff doing what they are sort of expected to do and favor the vet.

BUT...If Dickson can play the roll and likely will play the roll more often than not.....AND Armah is looking promising but needing more development THEN why not? You can always go get a Young in a pinch or get Young himself most likely. I'd love to see them make some gambles instead of playing it super safe.  Do you want Young for a year or two or Armah for 8? Assuming Armah actually has potential
