We got 9 games out of him last year and now we could've REALLY used that 4th. 

Honestly safety is such a weakness that id be ok with sending a 3rd with the intentions of signing Ward to an extension. At some point we need to go that extra mile and just go for it.

We lost a firey vet that brought extreme intensity that rubbed off on the rest of the defense when we let Norman walk... now we have a chance to bring some of that intensity back. Make this happen.

I would be OK with giving up a 2019 3rd, but that's as much as Hurney should be willing to give. If the panthers got this guy I think everyones moral on here for the upcoming season would be through the fuging roof!
