Not having a 4th hurts. Forgot about that Lee trade. Can't give a 3rd for a 30 year old safety on the last year of his contract. Doubt a 5th would get it done.

Youth movement, one year left on his deal, extension uncertain, uncertainty at QB going forward, going all in two years ago, etc.

I'd make this happen. Put TJ at SS so he can move into the box on running downs, put Coleman back at FS where he can play center field when we was 2nd in league with 7 INT.   What to give tho? DA has looked bad this preseason but I don't know if I'd feel good about Webb being 2nd if called upon. He has looked good tho.

Was talking to a die hard Denver fan this weekend...told him it was time for them to tear it down, and start over...guess they are thinking that as well.

I could definitely see us being like "nah nah, we're good, the answer is probably on the roster."

But you don't get all that many opportunities to bring in a proven vet at a position of need.  I hope we at least make an effort to try and get him.
