Oh man... I would love to have TJ Ward on this team!!! We need a safety that turns people into pretzels.

Yeah I know what you mean. We have these boring safeties who are limited athletically to put it nicely. Our safeties are the ones who get hit, not do the hitting. It gets old watching that. Hopefully we can make some kind of an upgrade soon. We need to build a dominant defense.

Coleman is good , it's just the other side that needs shoring up.

Boston shouldn't have been released

Coleman kind of makes me cringe when he gets trucked by a RB, or has a terrible blooper. He's not as athletic as I would like either, and God help us when the Falcons start pitching it all over the stadium.

I wouldn't have been upset if we had kept Boston, but the lights never really came on for him.

Looking like he might get cut in the coming days, I'll be okay if we don't sign him IF he is cut. But we better be a leaked team that is interested in the coming days.

If you're being actively shopped right before the roster cutdown deadline, it's virtually guaranteed that you're going to be cut.

I think Coleman is fairly average in terms of athleticism for an NFL safety. I think his biggest asset is his instincts when the ball is in the air. He's a natural ballhawk and I think that's why he plays so much better when he's allowed to play centerfield. Wish the Steelers hadn't overpaid the hell out of Mike Mitchell. I think he and Coleman could've paired up to be a helluva safety duo in our defense. One ballhawking centerfield and one relentless hitter. Ward could probably fill that role for us.

I really hope we make a run at him.

This is one we can agree on. I would rather get him after he's cut though.

Yeah...good points.

I miss the attitude and overall nastiness that Mike Mitchell brought during his short stint here.

Why do we always have these one year wonders....Marlon McCree, Mike Mitchell. I sad.
