Thanks, I have always wondered that as well.  We need a tutorial post explaining all the rules for posting topics and explain how to use all the functions

Just fiddle around with the tools provided, man, and see what they do.  You ain't gonna break nothin'.

And if you do, @Jeremy Igo pays for it anyway. :shades::Eggplant_Emoji_Icon_42x42:

Interesting concept.

This league could save themselves a lot of money if they just realized that the players don't need coaches.

You a master at taking a concept or comment and totally warping it out of context to follow your agenda. No one said he doesn't need a coach but Cam is the coach on the field coordinating the offense and directing it. He has total autonomy to run the offense. Interesting he recently said he doesn't like calling plays  and prefers to just run what he is given when he got to call plays in training camp. But that is a whole different topic.

There is no pity party. I'm just trying to bring some common sense to counter the incessant group think that refuses to allow for the fact that Cam is allowed to audible and to not throw to the long option if he doesn't want to.

He may be able to audible but with the wr we had last yr we weren't going to get anywhere with those we had playing...teams had figured out how to play us plus offensive line was in shambles.

Agree. Which is why I respond to all the Shula hate. He has the same personnel that Cam does. If Cam gets a pass so should Shula. If Shula doesn't get a pass, neither should Cam.

However the personel groupings is shula fault. Reverses called with cotchery and mike tolbert running, mike tolbert blocking,.. He has to call plays or create plays that fit his personnel ... and if he can not do that he needs to draft or trade to get those players..Cams job is to make sure that what plays are called are ran and communicated to everyone..with some recognition to what defense is seen..but if the personnel can not counter and you audible to the right play thats not Cams fault..Too many times I have zeen the wrong player get the ball according to play call.

Pretty nitpicking when you are pointing out one play here or there. As for Shula adapting to the personnel, didn't he revamp the whole run game in 2015 to account for losing Benjamin and didn't he and Cam have the number 1 offense with arguably the worse receiver group in the league. Truth is he and Cam have had arguably some of the worse supporting talent in the league and produced better than expected results. And to be clear you never know what was called or what adjustments were made at the line even if you watch film. All you know is what happened not what was supposed to happen.

There was no revamping of this offense..we have ran the same offense since after Shockey left...he just built a little more of zone read plays...Kevin got hurt we had no wrs and teams did not respect them..thats why in SB we got smacked bc we did nothing different ..haven't  really changed since 2012 on offense. No one respected Cam either to be honest his accuracy only the running they respected..You take away the run and it was over..wrs exposed and playcalling..

We clearly can't have a discussion if you can't even admit that Shula did a great job in 2015 which was largely recognized and touted by every knowledgeable football expert. You clearly have an agenda and aren't open to objective discussion so I won't waste any additional time. Believe what you want and don't let the facts get in your way as usual.

I have no agenda...the only thing he adjusted was the run game..passing plays were much to be desired..maybe it was because who we had but the passing plays were bland and still are..this is what most people see...the read option plays were what he added..tried taking it away last yr and you saw what we got... Shula knew that he wanted to go away from running Cam..SB proved our passing game was not getting it ..combination of players, play design, and RT.  2016 comes around and nothing has changed except we decide to not run Cam the only thing people felt threatened by.. Cam mad the thing work and yes it came from most games being non huddle fast pace offense..until playoffs where Cam was barely getting play calls in time from sideline.. Defense had really no time to react and Cam killed them...

There should be no excuses for Shula this yr if the offense is dead in the water again. Like I said maybe it was because he did not have the players to fit what he wanted to run..but have seen better OCs

See. Totally off the wall. Cam barely had time due to.late  playcalling? Yet the mike goes dead with 15 seconds left on the clock so it is guaranteed that he had at least 15 seconds to look over the defense and change or call the play. And there was no discussion about him not getting the play at all.

He didn't adjust the passing plays.   He had the worst receivers in the league by everyone's estimation. Your number 1 receiver was Tedd Ginn and players were young and inexperienced with the exception of Cotchery who was old and ready to retire. Can't get too complicated when you have little talent and little experience. That is why we revamped the running game because when KB went down we had little else.

So how much no huddle did we run. Roughly 60% of our passes and we ran the ball over half so we likely ran the no huddle at the most 30% of our plays.  So we had the number 1 scoring offense yet we didn't even rank in the top 5 using the no huddle.

You clearly aren't using facts to back up your opinions. It sounds like all the huddle complaints wrapped into one. Only.problem is they weren't true then and aren't true now. Just expoused by the Shula haters who looked for any reason to complain. Both Cam and Shula did a fantastic job.

Of course you have an agenda,  you have been a Shula basher forever. Who are you trying to kid.

I see someone is in close to mid season form.  :100_Emoji_42x42:
