Anyone else a new Bear's fan?

Crow eaten?  For what? Not being a new bears fan because of some college QB that was drafted by them that happened to be from a college you root for?

Yeah no man. I wouldn't be anew fan of a NFL team if my kid wound up being the franchise QB for a team other than the Panthers. My allegiance is to Carolina and I ain't gonna throw it away just like that .

This is funny and weird at the same time.

1) Crow eaten for people saying he wasn't worthy of the pick and wasn't the best QB in the draft.

2) Rooting for another team doesn't mean you "throw away" your team's allegiance. Well only if you pull for the other team over your own team. Which I wouldn't do.

Actually, I am not even rooting for the Bears or a fan of the Bears per say. It would be for Trubisky. If he got traded or was on a different team I would root for him / them.

Lol at "throwing it away"

I am a Panthers fan not a fan of a particular player just because of where they went to school. As an alumni of ECU I really hoped for example we picked up Justin Hardy last year and Zay Jones this year. But they went to Atlanta and Buffalo. Am I going to root for those teams?  Hell no.  They are dead to me. Especially anyone who plays for Atlanta. I hate Atlanta and everything about them. If you are a true Panther fan you would too. Reminds me of all the Clemson fans who rooted for Watson over the Panthers when we played the Texans.  I just don't get it. But then again I am a Panthers football fanatic not a college football fan who sometimes roots for the Panthers.

I will pull for the Bears in three games this year.

Other than that, they could go winless and I wouldn't even notice. Zero interest.

It's likely to help if they beat the Packers as well, but yeah I otherwise agree.

I'm not a fan, but I will be tuning into their games on Sunday. I'm following a different player, though: Tarik Cohen. NC A&T alum, who has a chance to really do some things in the league. A lot of Greensboro will be rooting for the bears.

Being in Greensboro and going to UNCG it'll be nice for A&T to suck again hahaha jk. But I hooped with the football team last summer in Corbett and I have to admit I am surprise how well he is doing. Ususally small scat backs from HBCUs fizzle out before they even get going.

The Bears RB group is also lowkey deep as poo. I fully expect them to keep all 4 rbs and for them all to play. Especially with the Bears losing their No 1 wr yesterday all they have is a questionable Kevin White and Victor Cruz
