Rodney was totally effing with Brady (he texted him about it first) but I agree that the defense is at a huge disadvantage with a lot of these rules which is made far worse when they aren't called consistently so they don't know how to coach the players to avoid the penalties.

Brady did the right thing being a b*tch to get the call because it helped his team win. (Certainly wasn't going to hurt it).

The refs shouldn't have made those calls though. Unfortunately they did, and the Ravens lost. End of story. Clayton shouldn't have dropped that ball on 4th down either.
