Another reason why I'm happy gettledouche is gone . Ealy was a bust we could of had Landry or Robinson to go along with Benjamin but instead we picked ealy and then next year took another bust in funchess .

Ealy could have been a great player if he had he heart. The talent was obviously there. We have all seen it when he was motivated. Firing Gettleman was a big ass mistake...period.

Wasn't completely a waste. Helped us get Moton who looks like a stud.

I get what you're saying man, but this sort of justification for blowing a crucial 2nd rounder when our offensive line has been swiss cheese for years is why the Panthers have yet to hoist a Lombardi trophy. We didn't have to use 2 picks to get a guy like Moton. We could have drafted another offensive piece in place of Ealy, and still drafted Moton later.

It's also the division. How many times have the Jets, Bills and Dolphins been to the playoffs in Brady's career. They are literally spotted a 5-1 or 6-0 start without playing. There are no other playoff contenders that you can say that about. Since Brady has been in the league, the other 3 teams have made the playoffs 10 times (most were Jets early) with 0 SB appearances. In our division, our 4 teams have 23 playoff appearances and 5 SB appearances. I'm not saying the Pats aren't good but their conference, especially recently has been atrocious aside from the Dolphins one and done in the playoffs last year.

Fair point, but there's no denying how good they are against nondivision opponents, especially in the playoffs and they are always legit contenders for the Superbowl and pretty much favored regardless of who they face for good reason....they usually win.

Like I said, I hate it but they are the king of the Hill until some bigger bully comes along and knocks them off for good.

I think that can be us.

Could say this about 95% of busts.

I will never understand this.  He has a special needs little sister that is severely handicapped and when he was drafted he said that if for nothing else, he was playing for her to be well taken care of.  Seemed very sincere at the time.

I do think G-Man saw something wasn't clicking and decided to jettison this mistake for what may well be a very nice pick TBD as the next few seasons go by.

I wish the best for Kony and his little sister.  Hopefully his career will find a fit in his next stop.

Not sure we fleeced Belichick, all we got was moving up 8 spots in the draft wasn't it?

Still, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

I would take that every time for a guy that got cut before the season. At least we don't have to worry about dumb trades like Hurney made. Oh poo well...
