Sure, size is a factor. If McGregor wasn't an amateur it might make a difference. But he is. And this isn't kickboxing. Cam is 6'5"+ but 5'9" Isaiah Thomas would destroy him 1 on 1 in basketball. When there's this much of a skill difference in the sport, that size and strength advantage will ultimately have negligible impact. I think you underestimate the intricacies and skills required in the sport of boxing that take years and years to master. McGregor has none of those skills developed at all. You can't just walk into any sport or any type of skill and be good at it. It takes 10,000 hours plus of practicing and learning all the intricacies and understanding the depth of what's required and done in the sport, or instrument or whatever skill you want to talk about. McGregor might wind up with about 1,000 hours of boxing experience, compared to Mayweather's 10's of thousands at this point. And Mayweather has elite speed and footwork ability. McGregor has neither. Mayweather's footwork alone could win him this match easily, even ignoring his mastery of punching, counterpunching, feints, dodging, blocking, parrying, etc. The list goes on. It's a completely stupid and pointless match, that's only being done by the two of them because of the insane money involved that retards are going to pay to watch it.

Maybe I'm the retard that you are referring to but that was the best $100 I've spent in awhile. Not sure why you are so angry about the whole thing.

Had a fight party and hung out by the pool surrounded by good friends, beautiful women, great food, and cocktails. $100 is chump change for the fun that last night was. Very entertaining fight. No regrets whatsoever....well, maybe a couple but paying for the fight isn't one of them.

No it's the arguments before the draft I'm calling out specifically.

You used McC as evidence that I can't admit that I'm wrong, even though I've been doing just that ever since the start of TC. Before the draft I liked the kid but just didn't feel he was worth a top 10 pick and I'd have preferred to trade back a bit or try to trade back up into the back of the first to get him rather than take him at 8. Now, I'm just glad we have him but I really don't see what your point is. Wow, there was a player in the draft that I didn't think was worth a top 10 pick, but would've been fine later in the first... Must have brain damage huh @RoaringRiot

I wasn't talking about you. 1) I thought we were talking about PF, 2) my wife had just had a baby when I wrote that so poo wasn't clear.

Girl - second - thank dude.

I'm happy to have some fun banter with you about how you doubted my CMC knowledge - that's a good time. It's PF who refuses to acknowledge that he's wrong or that I wasn't calling that weeks in advance (or that I didn't have a damn Tshirt on the night of the draft). I thought that's why Morgan was tagging me in the post.

Yeah I have no problem with that. Still not sure you'd have been right if the Jags passed on Fournette... Too bad we'll never find out...

You were adamant that we wouldn't take him. That's the bull headedness I'm referring to. We're all gonna root for whomever we pick. That's not exactly being a white knight of contrition. :crying:

    • They got people like that but I mean, go back to the 1970s and you had the outlaw movement which was the same thing basically, a reaction against what at the time they called Countrypolitan - with strings and sweeteners and very narrow artistic type of value system.  The style of countrypolitan changes but the game remains.
    • The SEC were not having GT upset Georgia at home. Horrendously corrupt officiating in this game - the non-PI on 4th down and the non-targeting call on the King fumble. Good lord.
