Connor punching power > Mayweather punching power

That's not even up for debate. This favors Mayweather as well but not as much as it favors McGregor.  Furthermore, you guys seem to really be underestimating how powerful and explosive Connor is overall as a fighter and athlete. Every great fighter eventually gets trapped into a corner and on the ropes.

Like I referenced before, if Floyd didn't have any reservations about that type of fight, he would have accepted a fight with Margarito. He didn't. Bad, bad match up.

Many fighters that Mayweather has faced have had more punching power than him. That doesn't necessarily mean everything. He is a technician fighting a first time pro boxer. I never once brought up punching power either. I'm saying light gloves will make his, already quicker hands, well, faster. Il pair that with an already great boxer then he should win. You are right every great fighter does catch one every now and then. I'd be ok saying that against another boxer, but not in this scenario.

Also, ever since Mayweather hit about 35 wins, he only picked fights he could win. Take that for what it's worth. I hope it's a good fight,m. Like I said I like Connor, and he does have a shot, I just don't think he can do it.

Dont assume...i know about this stuff. If this were an octogon then i would easily give this victory to Connor. I'll  give him a punchers chance...a 1% chance of landing a lucky punch. Ill assume you know very little abojt boxing except what youve YouTube'd. Fugging millennials.

Now now Jimmy, I'm no millennial and I've watched both sports for a long time (earlier post). I give Conor a 20% chance to win with -5% each round after. It goes longer than 4 and I'm in that 1% range for the rest of the fight.

Conor was a youth boxing champion which I only bring up (not to compare w skills of Floyd) in order to show he started as a boxer as a kid. It's not alien to him.

Additionally, he beat up a former 2 time champion in sparring. This is not brand new. Floyd is the ridiculously superior boxer...of course. But he definitely has better than a 1% chance.
