Edelman has a complete ACL tear

Could be the end of Edelman's Patriot career. Brady likely gone soon, possibly after this year, and the connection was between those two, less so Belichick and Edelman. Also he's got no more guaranteed money on his deal after this year and I'm sure they'll prioritize keeping Cooks after trading for him. Plus he'll be 32 next May, and the ACL tear at that age with a player like him will be difficult to come back from quickly. Tough blow for him and them but that's part of the game and I don't feel bad at all for any of them. Edelman's long been a douche on and off the field anyways. Curious where he'd end up. Maybe with Brady somewhere if he's cut and wants to keep playing, and it's entirely possible Brady's cut after this year so they can transition to Garapollo who Belichick is super high on.

yeah it may be the Pats but i'll never wish an ACL on anyone after Benji. sounds sacrilegious to say this to a Patriot, but Keep Pounding Julian. 

That said, the Pats will be fine. Hogan, Amendola, and Cooks? i think we'd be happy to have that WR corps down here.

For the life of me I don't understand how people that actually love their real team can 1)play fantasy football and 2)pick players that they'd otherwise want to fail.

Amen to that.  Because very few games have literally no impact on the Panthers, even if it's far flung strength of schedule/victory scenarios.  To really care about FF you literally would have to pull against the Panthers at some point in some way, shape or form.

It's fun! It makes games I otherwise would not care for interesting. As long as they're not playing the Panthers, I'm all for it. And if they are playing the Panthers, I hope we're up by 30+ so I can get some garbage time points.

If you have all Panthers and a hodgepodge of AFCN, AFCS, an AFCW players this year, maybe, but why bother?  You're still running the risk of a conflict of interest for a variety of reasons.

A shame for Edelman but by the time we face the Patriots, some other guy will fill in the gap.

A. Draft primarily Panthers for good value

B. Stay away from NFC South unless the value is too good to pass up

C. In any case, if it's not a Panther, you root for inflated stats in a losing effort, when that loss benefits the Panther's

D. It's really not that hard to understand. But judging by your posts itt, it might be really hard to understand.
