Worley looked horrible last night

Also, Hurns is actually a dang good receiver. With a good QB, he'd be picking up big numbers.

We play in a division with Michael Thomas, Mike Evans, Julio Jones, Desean Jackson, etc. If he can't guard against a Henne/Hurns connection, I can't even imagine him guarding said players. Hopefully he steps it up in the regular season.

I'm willing to bet there's some rust as well.  It's still preseason.  Worley and Bradberry got better as the season went on.  With Bradberry already in form, we can hope it doesn't take until week 8 for Worley like it did last year.  I'm still optimistic though.

And the fact there's zero game planning for these games.  It's difficult to say as an observer what should've happened not knowing their assignments.

Complaining about a 2nd year corner who has made huge improvements in his game before week 1 of his second season. Some people live to be the i told you so's instead of letting things play out reasonably.

I've been up and down on Worley, but he definitely stood out last night on a few plays and not in a good way.

While we might see Bradberry break out this season, I expect we might need another season for Worley to get it all together.

He was never out of position. His technique needed a bit refinement in staying with his man, but hip flexibility has been an issue since last year.

On that one big play, Worley didn't drop his hips enough and turn, leading to that wide open reception. He had some nice run plays and covered okay, but I would say it wasn't his best game by any stretch.

Hope that fixes by season start.

That big play was a great throw and catch too.

He will get better or get benched. It's not like teams are going to test Bradberry.

He will get benched, and teams are going to test Bradberry often. Julio Jones v Bradberry is not a match up Bradberry can handle. The CBs are the weak link to this team and are likely going to cost the Panthers in the 4th quarter if the Panthers offense can not jump ahead by a few scores. Bradberry is outmatched against every NFC South team.
