I think it won't be a problem  unless we are blown out somehow. Now if we lose 2 consecutive games to start the season including our home opener against esentially 2 rebuilding teams in a row, then its time to hit the panic button. You cant be 0-2 going into your first divisional game in the Superdome , the Saints always play us close because our seconadary is never good enough to stop Brees and their defense is never good enough to stop Cam and Stew. 

What I'm more curious about is game 4. Brady will probably throw to the middle and left side of the field all day long picking on Worely and Adams. If Chad Henne and Mariota can do it, it'll be alot worse against Brady. If were going to suck at coverage in that game we might as well do sell out blitzes every play.

And yeah I was saying the same thing just a couple months ago but I'm just ready to go back now and hopefully leave with a better feeling this time. 

That SB loss had me pretty meh about last season but I'm good to go again so that's why I figured I'd go back

We have generally played the Pats very well.

IDK...  Maybe we need to simulate a week one loss and have a total meltdown thread to close out August.  Nothin else going on this weekend so it's good timing.

We're Panthers fans. Wasn't there just a thread about how wildly inconsistent the Panthers are? The odds of a Panther blowout to a 49ers blowout are about the same

No single game ever means that much unless its a playoff game or a game to get into the playoffs.    Two years ago, SF won the first game of the season against the Vikings.  They went on to miss the playoffs while the Vikings made it.  If we lose, it will not be the end of the season, it will just mean we can't go undefeated.

plenty of teams have had more talented rosters and still lost handily to Billecheck and Brady
